Mrs. Shubhadaini Joshi
Non-Executive Director

Shubha Joshi is involved in empowering students and teachers through in-service staff training. She believes that every individual has great potential and all they need is the environment in which they can groom themselves.

Working on ground with individuals, be it parents, teachers, staff or students, to bring about tangible change is her passion.

Creating an organization where everyone is lively, contributing, collaborating and taking active role in organization building is her dream for Balsam.

Shubha comes with 15 plus years of experience in education and 12 plus years in IT. Her interest has been in bringing Waldorf concepts into mainstream school. Her approach to team development is adopted from ideas based on Rudolf Steiner's anthroposophy.

Her contribution to Balsam has been predominantly in teacher empowerment.

Mr. Prabhakaran
Principal - Administrative Leader

He is a true professional who strives for academic development and organizational management. Beginning his career as a Math teacher in 2006, he has displayed a steady growth and found himself in key roles, serving as HOD for Mathematics and Vice-Principal for 4 years even before joining Balsam Academy in 2018.

At Balsam, he has applied his subject expertise to strengthen the Math department over the past three years and has been an active member in the School Core Committee. He has built a good rapport with team members, parents and children discussing about educational happenings, policies and resolving student behaviour & learning issues. He has also conducted effective training sessions for the team. The management has acknowledged his contributions by promoting him as the Principal- Administrative Leader from the academic year 2021-22.

We have witnessed the efforts made by him in understanding the strategic vision and mission of the school. We believe that he will be responsible for effective management of school by contributing to administrative leadership, Believe 2023 and to build a conducive environment for students to learn and grow.

Mrs. Hemakumari
Principal-Instructional leader

With great passion to work with children, she began her career as a facilitator in Balsam Academy. Since then, she has held diverse roles as Head of Exam Committee, Coordinator for various competitive exams and Vice Principal. She has been a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development of children.

With 12 years of experience at Balsam, she is highly skilled in adapting teaching to students’ diverse learning styles. She has evolved as an accommodating and versatile individual with the talent to develop inspiring hands-on lessons that will capture a child’s imagination and breed success.

She has topped the National Teaching Aids contest for Mathematics under Middle school category conducted by CBSE in 2019 and won 3rd place in designing lesson plan which includes skill, attitude and value conducted by Indian Institute of Education Management – Teachathon 2020.

She has established a great relationship with students and team members and we look forward to greater moments as we thrive for Believe 2023.

Ms.Shalini
Vice Principal

With 10 years of experience working in CBSE schools, holding a Masters degree in English, a trained Kindergarten facilitator joined Balsam two years ago as Level Monitor for K-G2 and this year she will be serving as Vice-Principal. She has evolved as an inclusive leader by building great relationship with parents, team members and children. She strongly believes that children must be allowed to experiment and explore, make mistakes and learn from them. An avid reader, confident speaker who has participated in talk shows and debates brings a lot of learning experiences for peers. We believe she will provide experiential learning to the students and unleash their latent potential. Her dream is to help parents raise their children holistically and we know she will make it a reality.

Mr. Delhibabu Anantharaman
Head of Operations

He began his professional career as an engineer in 2010, and in a decade, he has risen through the ranks to become an operational manager. He held key managerial and leadership positions for Fortune 500 companies such as Samsung Electronics, Flextronics, Salcomp, and ZTT India. His dynamic leadership inspired successful operational projects to maximize profit and minimize operational costs. The companies represented him in prestigious high-level external quality audits and competitions across national and international borders.

He earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SSN Institutions in Chennai. A Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Professional (LSSYB) and a Certified Quality Circle Coach (QCC).

He believes that an organization's culture is defined by its people, and leadership is all about empowering and valuing others.
