Greetings!

Cultural programs at Balsam provide opportunities to our students to show case their stage talents as per their ability and interest involving Music, Dance and Drama Departments. It is our earnest endeavour to involve as many children in the cultural program, by identifying the hidden talent, providing guidance and training to the children and making them excel in their parts drumming the cultural program. Department of Art, Craft and design plays a vital role in giving life to the program through high quality stage props and other props used by the participants. School Management continuously strives towards excellence in this area, through which the students are exposed to social and cultural skills, which shape their future lives.

We always were having houseful programmes in the past, with all the parents and well-wishers gracing the occasion and cheering the participating students on stage.

This year, we are coming up with school production by our graders 6 to 10. ‘SANKALPAM – revival of Indian culture and values’ is the theme for this year and we are working on it to raise funds for a noble cause.

With many changes to be incorporated this year because of the new changes introduced by CBSE, we have planned to organise the program by mid August so that students can prepare for mid term exams without any hassle. More details with synopsis for the program and the invite will be sent to you in early August.

Pre-registration forms are issued by the Homeroom teachers and the same has to be filled by the students who want to be a part of the auditions. Parents are requested to sign the forms and send in by 6.6.19.

Auditions will be conducted on 8.6.19 between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. To ensure that children don’t miss the academic sessions, we have scheduled training sessions during weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) starting from 9.6.19. The list of performers, practice dates, timings and venue shall be shared in detail after the auditions.

• Note: Transport facility will be provided on Saturdays and not on Sundays. Therefore parents are requested to pick and drop the participants on Sundays.
