Dear parents,

We hope you are all safe and healthy! The coronavirus crisis has impacted the global economic system and everyone is facing financial difficulty including the schools. We are striving to support our students with quality teaching and deliverables as always. This comes at a cost. The lockdown has wiped out almost our entire revenue stream. With great difficulty, we have managed so far, thanks to our management and those few parents who have extended their support amidst lockdown by paying fees. Needless to remind that fees is the only source of income for a school and it has to meet all the planned commitments. We earnestly request all the parents to pay the fees on their own free will recognizing the team’s effort. If parents pay fees on time, it will help a school continue to provide uninterrupted learning to children. Please be informed that the team is dedicated to provide service to the student community and is determined to continue teaching-learning process in a systematic manner by introducing remote learning and online classes. We want you to understand that we are requesting you to help us out and we are certainly not demanding fees from the students on the pretext of online classes during this period. We are providing it as an optional complimentary service for the benefit of our students. Sustaining quality online education is our prime concern and it is definitely not as easy as it may seem. As resolved in the School Management Committee meeting we are providing flexible payment options and cooperating with parents who have expressed and proven their financial hardships, by extending all possible support to them. We appeal to consider our practical difficulties and extend your support by paying fees to operate for the benefit of student community. Please analyse before you ask for school fee discounts or waivers. Building rent, Bank EMI, Staff Salary and allowances, Statutory obligations like EPF, ESI, Gratuity, etc., maintenance expenses, administrative expenses, Insurance, Taxes, Renewal charges are not coming down. Events, fuel and power charges, welfare expenses are some of the things that we have saved during lockdown. Deferment of fees (2019-20 and 2020-21) by many parents facing hardships, COVID r elated safety measures and sanitation expenses, disinfecting campus and vehicles, online teacher training costs have put us in great distress. We humbly request all parents to stand by us and not go by what other members have to say or instigate to use this lockdown as an opportunity to bargain with the school. This will disturb the very social fabric of a school.
