Reopening of School – Grade 9 and 10

Dear Parents,

We would like to apprise you that asper the guide lines issued by the Department of School Education(DSE) vide its G.O.No.34462 dated 04.01.2021, Private schools management can reopen their schools for Grade 10 after Pongal holidays from 18.01.2021 subject to the following conditions:

1. Online classes shall continue even after school re-opens.
2. Students shall attend the school with the written consent of parents.
3. In case some parents prefer their children to continue with online classes, they may be permitted to do so.
4. School staff, parents and students shall follow the Standard Operating Procedures as issued by the government.

As more than 90%  of Grade 10 parents have expressed willingness to re-open, we are planning to
re-open the school in a phased manner from 19.01.2021 as follows, to prepare students to appear for Board exams confidently.

1. Phase 1: From 19.01.2021 to 30.01.2021 – Classes at school  will be held from 08.45 am to 12.30 pm from Monday to Friday.
2. Phase 2: From 01.02.2021 – Classes at school will be held from 08.45 am to 03.30 pm from Monday to Friday.

We now, anticipate your continued support in succeeding this real-time test of conducting classes for our students in school with stipulated safe protocols.

We have taken the Key precautionary measures to keep the students and the staff safe and healthy inside the campus, The school campus including buildings and all the surfaces and objects will be disinfected on a regular basis.

Training on practicing Sanitization norms and Social Distancing norms will be imparted to students.
Children will be insisted to read and understand the safety measures to follow.

We believe that having information and facts about COVID-19 will help in diminishing the fear and anxieties about the disease and support each other to emerge out of this soon. Let us keep our selves updated to stay safe.
