North Star App

Dear Parent,

We will be using the Northstar’s  services to ensure safe transist of children between home and school. With the Northstar App, you can track your child’s school bus during route times and receive alerts in real time.

The App is available for free on Android and iOS stores. Simply search for ‘Northstar for Parents’ or click on the link for Android //goo.gl/4Tqxz] and iphone //goo.gl/EEM4Rz

Steps to Download

1. Click on the above link or simply type Northstar for parents in the play store or App store search bar
2. Once you find the application click install
3. Once the application is installed on your phone
4. Please login using your contact number
5. You will receive an OTP and app will allow you access to the route map during route timings

In case the application says your number is not registered-Please register by filling the details and submit the form and then contact school or northstar for form approval. Features, Advantages and benefits of the application

Mobile App

The Northstar app has been completely re-designed and is available on ioS & android. The new app  does away with unreliable SMS alerts in favour of reliable in-app alerts.

In-App Messages

Messages from school can now be received on smart phones, thus doing away with unreliable SMS notifications.

Proximity based Alerts

Parents can now receive alerts when the bus is about to reach their respective stops.

Add family member

With add family member as an option, parents can use as many numbers as possible to track the child (conditions apply: Only primary number can add additional numbers).

Benefits  for parents

• You will receive alerts when your child reaches school, leaves school and when the bus is about to reach the designated bus stop.
• You can now monitor your child’s school bus location in real-time through the App.
• You can can choose at what distance from the bus stop you receive a notification about the arrival of the school bus.
• Through the App, you can add members of the family so that they can by notified on the child’s location.
