Grade 1 & 2 November Contest

November 4th, 2019 /balsam user

Dear parents of Grade 1 and 2, This is to inform you that the following contests will be held in November. Kindly encourage the kids to participate in all the contests to develop their skills.

15.11.19 (FRIDAY) SPELL BEE  – Final round Practice sheet will be given to the students who were qualified for the finals (students who have scored above 15 out of 20 are qualified in the spell bee written contest conducted on ——) 5 words will be tested from each category. Contestant should spell the word without stopping or hesitation.
22.11.19 (FRIDAY) POEM RECITATION Poem will be sent. Parents are requested to train the students for the contest. Students will be assessed based on the  following: Lines completion, Eye Contact, Audible and Confident, Expression.  
29.11.19 (FRIDAY) READING (ENGLISH & TAMIL) Reading practice should be given regularly at home by the parents. Kindly train them to read the given pages in English and Tamil books from November onwards for improving their reading skills. Language teachers will conduct the contest during their respective periods. Students will be assessed on the following: Fluent Reading, Correct Pronunciation, pause, Clear/Audible Voice, and Appropriate Speed.

Note: Writing Practice will improve their handwriting, so kindly encourage your children to write regularly in the given notebooks to enjoy writing from November onwards.
