Dear Parents/ Teachers,

SUB: INTENSIVE & FOCUSED COVID-19 CAMPAIGN -rgd.,

First, let us thank you for your support and understanding how we, as a nation and community, responded to COVID-19 in March. Our students, parents, team members, and community leaders handled the crisis we faced and support each other as we continued to educate and take care of students during the most unusual of circumstances.

Coronavirus cases are on the rise across the world, and it will seemingly increase the mortality rate, death and critical cases in India, which is now placed second in the list of coronavirus infected cases in the world. At the same time, it is everyone’s responsibility to strictly comply with safety norms.

As a precautionary measure we would like to share with you the measures taken by the CBSE board, ie., as per the Circular, No: CBSE/RO (M)/CAMPAlGN/COVID-1 9/2020. Based on the guidelines on Health and Safety Protocols issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, it is decided to organize a campaign titled “Public Health Response to Covid-’19- Appropriate Behaviour” in all schools across the country’.

In this regard, we emphasize the point that with the upcoming festival season and the present unlock situation, it is important to follow the COVID related social behaviour norms including wearing masks, social distancing and hand washing/hygiene.

Parents and teachers are encouraged to use Arogya Setu application for their own as well as others safety. Also, follow the immunity boosting measures prescribed by the AYUSH Ministry.

We have attached the poster related to the above for your better understanding of safety precautions. We kindly request you to adhere to it to stay safe and protect the community and nation as a whole.

The safety and wellbeing of our community and young people is paramount, so I hope this information is helpful to you.

Expecting your support,

Team BALSAM
