Labour Day is celebrated all around the world to recognize the efforts of millions of labours and helpers. They make our work easy and work tirelessly to contribute a lot.
On 30th April, 2022, activities and performances to entertain the support staff of Balsam are planned by the scholastic and co-scholastic teams.
The admin team has planned to take them out for a lunch party too.

A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. —John Maxwell Democracy will be bought into the school through the Investiture ceremony happening on April 30th, 2022. The prestigious event will be presided over by Dr.Deepa Sathyan, I.P.S( Superintendent of Police, Ranipet. The elected delegates will be taking the oath with zeal and valour. They will be
conferred with badges and sashes by the Guest of Honour.

CBSE begins the board examination for Grade 10 students for the academic session 2021-22 from 27 April 2022 to 18 May 2022. Balsamities are ecstatic and keen to take the exams in DAV School, BHEL. Every day, students are accompanied by teachers and offered prayers before the exam.

Industrial visits bridge the widening gap between theoretical learning and practical exposure by giving students first-hand exposure to identify the inputs and outputs for different business operations and processes performed at the workplace. It aims to give exposure to the students about the practical working environment with theoretical learning. It provides students a good opportunity to achieve full awareness about industrial practices and working.

Balsam intended to take Grade 9 students to Matas International Company on April 22, 2022 in order to go beyond classroom learning.

The Student Orientation Program is an important part of a student’s life. The Orientation Program was designed to introduce students to faculty, administration, and current students. Orientation is intended to provide answers to questions before they are asked and solutions before problems arise.

Balsam Academy held its first-ever offline Students Orientation Programme for Grade 10 students for the academic year 2022-23 in the presence of School Heads in the work education hall.

A new year, a new beginning. Academic year 2022-23 will be starting with fun filled and heartful classes for the children of Balsam. Classroom rhythms will be set appropriately to cater the developmental needs of the children. The major focus will be given to children to develop their socio-emotional skills. April session will be serving as base for the Holistic learning.

To instil the thinking skills and problem-solving skills in children we have decided to bring in the XSeed curriculum for the academic year 2022-23 for the Grades 1 to 8. Teachers handling the grades will be attending the sessions conducted by Ms.Rekha Chandrashekar, representative from X-Seed. Children following X-Seed are prompted to ask more questions and can write in their own words.

Marking the start of the new academic year, we will be beginning the year with an aim to instil the
sense of maximising their potential of new and old staff members of Balsam. The Staff Induction
programme will comprise all the aspects that would help in smooth running of the school. Members
will be trained to set in emotionally and physically, to understand the new culture and to understand
the requirements of the role they are undertaking.
