Typical day for Gr. 1-6 students –

During the April session of school, all students will review school values and establish expectations for school success. These purposeful activities lay the foundation for learning throughout the year and help to build a strong school community. Over these days, staff will take the time to finalize classroom configurations. This challenging process will be our top priority as we continue to refine the best learning environment for all our students for the upcoming school year. Below is detailed information about the opening week of April session. Please make sure you read through this carefully. Families are also reminded to stay tuned for additional emails, messages as lots of important information will be distributed over the coming weeks.
April Start Up Procedures
Monday, April 10th, 2017 8:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for Graders 1-6
8:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. for Graders 7-10
All students in Grade 1- 10 should report to their assigned grade classroom for the first day of school by 8:45 a.m.
No April session for Kindergarten.

Parent Teacher Meeting

All Parents are requested to come and meet the Teachers of their wards and discuss about their progress, verify student data, contact forms and school forms. complete information on making online payments. Please refer to the timing mentioned in the circular to ease the movement of people in school.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr.Damodiran as Deputy Head of Balsam Academy from April 2017. He has worked with us in the past, teaching science and currently preparing to help students by setting up a Learning Lab to overcome their learning difficulties. We look forward to welcoming him back to the Balsam community.
