ABOUT SCI-VIT 2021

SCI-VIT 2021 is an ONLINE One-Day Science Festival for school children, organised by the School of Advanced Sciences, VIT Chennai,to promote science,the spirit of invention and innovation in young minds.

THEME OF SCI-VIT 2021- Futuristic Science and Technology QUIZ

• Two separate quizzes for Standards IX-X.
• Individual participant.
• There will be a screening round. 5 students will be selected for the main quiz.
• There will be three thematic rounds in the final quiz.

EXTEMPORE SPEECH

• Only for IX-X students.
• Speech only in English
• There will be a screening round. 5 students will be selected for the final round.
• Maximum limit to prepare is 2 min and maximum time for speech will be 3 min.

MODEL PRESENTATION / EXHIBITION

• Only for IX-X students.
• Individual / Group presentation.
• There will be a screening round. Top 10 students will be selected for the finals.
• 10 min presentation.
• It could be model / some type of coding / App DEBATE
• Only for X students.
• Each team consists of 3 participants.
• There will be a screening round. Top 8 teams will be selected for the final.
• For screening round- 5 topics will be given, each team can choose a topic and make a 3-minute video, upload the video on google drive and share the link.

NOTE :

➢ No restriction on the number of teams/participants per school.
➢ All events are based only on the theme “Futuristic Science and Technology.”
